About Us

This is the website of Sahajayoga Meditation in Houston, Texas.

What:

Sahaja Yoga is a simple meditation technique by which one can achieve a state of thoughtless awareness where the mind becomes completely peaceful and calm, yet completely alert. Sahaja Yoga awakens the Kundalini, a dormant spiritual energy that exists in all human beings. This energy brings balance within our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual being and makes us peaceful, joyful, and stress-free. The National Institutes of Health in Washington D.C. offers free weekly Sahaja Yoga programs for its patients since 1998, and has hosted international seminars dedicated to the study of the health benefits of this unique type of meditation.
